What are Private Training sessions?

One to One Sessions provide one player with one coach. Before beginning your journey, your coach will work with the player and parent to identify, assess and create a plan of action to work on player weaknesses and make the most of player strengths. With this plan of action, players are given specific training drills and support to help elevate their game, making it a perfect option for players who want to develop an edge in the game. Although sessions are focused, ERL Football Coaching always make sure that players are having fun in the process. When you’re having fun, you’re more motivated to work hard and improvements show through!

Why are Private Training sessions important?

ERL Football Coaching was inspired by the fact that the modern day player outside of a professional set up only trains once or twice a week before game day. When training within a large group, the amount of attention that can be dedicated to a single player can often be minimal. Focusing more on tactics and overall team performance, individual performance can often be left out. This is why ERL Football Coaching decided to focus on One to One,Two on One and Three on One training, our most popular choice for players and parents.

Private training sessions provide a focus on a detailed individual performance, tailoring training drills and exercises to the player their position. By spending focused time on the individual, ERL Football Coaching provides players with the right level of attention to develop an edge and maximise overall performance. This puts the player in a better position to excel in large group training and in the game itself.

What does a typical Private Training session look like?

Private training sessions have a duration of 1 hour and to say the least a lot gets done within that time frame. We take pride in keeping things traditional, warm ups and stretches to begin with followed by a variety of drill specifics to which will help in both physical and technical ways for the player(s) in the session. Every session with E.R.L is different in some shape or form, we take pride in keeping players on their toes with exciting but challenging new drills as the journey goes on. Repetition is key and certain themes of training do stay throughout to make sure players can be certain progress is being made.
