What are the E.R.L Camps?

These camps are designed to lock players into a detailed daily programme, totalling 6 hours of involvement per day. This consists of educating a variety of topics to practice the fundamentals on and off the ball. Linking to this is delivering these different components in an interactive way as well as implementing healthy competitive environments which entail tournaments, matches, small group technical games with awards up for grabs.

We believe camps can benefit players physically, technically, mentally and socially. With dedicated Coaches committed in the approach of going into the detail play a huge role in orchestrating a constant positive and fun environment for all to work in. We also aim to invite special guests to visit camps who have been or are currently involved at an elite level to come in, talk to our players and give them that extra motivation in wanting to strive for more. We want players to be inspired. It’s a no brainer if you fit the age bracket of our camps to get involved and be a part of the ever growing family of E.R.L.

Why are the E.R.L Football Camps important?

We are very proud and hold close the value of what the Seasonal Camps provide to young people on the holiday breaks throughout the year. By how important Camps are to us, we aim to make the quality of the day represent that through the preparation and time put in which has helped keep the consistency of successful camps over the years. It’s a time of non stop action, keeping players accountable and great memories made.

Our Camps give players the chance to simply enjoy what football does best, bringing people together. They are aimed for all abilities and we believe that we offer something for everyone ensuring that not only players are enjoying themselves, staying productive but also being challenged in a monitored capacity with the end results leading to growth. All we ask is that we have players attend who want to be there or are ready to give 100% regardless of ability as we believe in a “can do” mindset.

What does a typical camp day look like?

Our camps begin in the morning and finish in the afternoon. We like to begin our day with a planned routine in ensuring all our players are warmed up and ready for what’s ahead. With the amount of moving done by a player in a day it’s important their body is physically ready for the activities and drills ahead. Players are required to bring plenty of fluids, snacks and a lunch to help keep energy levels high throughout the day.

E.R.L stands for Educate, Repeat and Lead. So as a way of implementing the educational element, time is well spent in the planning and delivering of topics in the constantly evolving game for our players to gauge and practice. The idea and ensurement of having progressions cemented into all our drills gives players of different abilities the chance to progress at their own pace. In addition, with the support of our Coaches and fellow players around encourages the best versions of players to be brought out. We make sure we give players the opportunity to showcase their skills as well within a team environment seeing off the day with tournaments and matches.

Prizes and awards are up for grabs to give extra incentive to players that hard work is rewarded.
